In A Sick World, We are the Doctors.

The Earth is sick. No I'm not talking about Global Warming, nor am I talking about epidemics like AIDS. I'm talking about how everyone in the world has this little infection called SIN that can ruin our lives. Everyone has it, and there is only one Cure, and even with the Cure, you are still prone to getting it.

There are many forms this sickness comes in. No version is worse than the another; every one of them is deadly. Why, in a world covered in sin, do we just accept it? One quick visit to a highschool and one can see all 10 commandments broken at least once. All over the TV we see celebrities getting drunk and making fools of themselves, while on the next channel are two people having causal intercourse. Everyday we are subjected to sinning and how it's "okay" because everyone does it. Well here's a newsflash for you: IT'S NOT OKAY!

Jesus said that "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick" (Mark 2:17). He knew that sin was not just something that happened, but a disease. And when He said "the heathly" He knew that there aren't any "healthy" people. We have all sinned. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). We all need Jesus, and it is the job of those who know Him to tell everyone else. It is our job to tell everyone else that sinning is not okay. It is our job to tell them that they are sick. It is our job to show them the Cure.

Go out and heal the sick!
